HISTORY

Pol Cochet began developing his own blends of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in 1875. His daughter Louise and son-in-law Henri Petitjean continued the business. Their son Pierre Petitjean, who was passionate about oenology, created the Institut Œnologique de Champagne, a consulting firm for Champagne producers.

His son Michel Petitjean became its director and also took over Champagne production in 1960, before handing it over in 1991 to Éric Petitjean, who followed in his father's footsteps by spending 15 years at the head of the IOC, then relaunching the family's Champagne production in 2011.

A terroir, commitments

Our values are based above all on respect for people and nature.

We are proud to offer an organically grown cuvée within the Pol Cochet range. Organic champagnes account for less than 5% of the area under cultivation in Champagne. Each bottle represents a commitment.

This rarity can be explained by the region's particular climatic conditions, which make viticulture without synthetic products demanding and resolutely committed.

Champagnes

Born from our exceptional expertise and unique terroir, our champagnes combine finesse, aromatic complexity, and balance. Each cuvée is crafted with passion and precision, offering an unforgettable taste experience that celebrates the French art of living. We produce great champagnes, each with its own character, thanks to our excellent mastery of blending: Pinot Noir brings out its roundness and elegance, while Chardonnay adds a touch of freshness and refinement.
